The Return to the Real World!

Homeward Bound

Sahgo's notes: The dub title is.... uh... fine... I... guess.... Writer, Adele Lim (aw, nuts!). The episode is full of added dialogue but there were not much "good time" to make Stupid Dialogue. The script for most part is ok: in my opinion, the dub script changes in Takato's declaration scene were an improvement. But that's because I'm the biggest fan of Takato+Juri couple ^.^ Mrs. Lim, you're 1% more human to me :).

Side Note:
Kyubimon (both versions): "Impmon was right: we are out of our tiny minds." Well, here we are with the same situation of previous episode (the destiny stuff). In my last comparison, the last box: in the original, Impmon really says Ruki and Renamon are crazy (or "out of their tiny minds"), and here Kyubimon is refering to that. But in the dub, Impmon just says he agree to go home with them, so, like Leomon's destiny, there's no meaning anymore.

All computer messages are translated. The translation is pretty accurate.

Side Note:
Hey, if Cyberdramon and Kyubimon de-evolved when they entered the arc, why didn't MarineAngemon do the same? In the original, MarineAngemon doesn't talk. He just says 'Pa Pi Pu' or things like this. Uh... when dub Kenta is saying how happy he is for being a Tamer now, why does it sounds like he's having and orgasm? In the original, inside the train, Takato says to the guy that Guilmon saved them from Vikaralamon. In the dub Takato just says Guilmon is a good and sensitive digimon, making no reference to that incident of 17 episodes ago. The sound they used to show that Guilmon is hungry is HORRIBLE! It's more like someone is stepping on crap or something like this o_o. Takato's declaration is kept!!! YAY /o/|o|\o\ Wow, I loved the dub script for that part: Takato: "You know, traveling with you Kato-san it's really a dream coming true. You talked to me so many times, Kato-san, that sometimes I think you like me. Or it's my imagination... *blushes* No, I know it's definetly my imagination! I mean, it is, isn't it? I mean, I do, I like...... Kato-san? Kato-san?......."
Takato: "You know Jeri, I've always wanted to tell you something: you're the nicest girl I've ever met. I think... I mean, you always talk to me and stuff when no one else would, and... it may sound silly but sometimes I've imagined that you might... I don't know, like me.... the way that I like you- *blushes* Well, I mean, it's not that I think about you all the time, 'cause I do- Aw, this is not! What I'm trying to say, more then just a friend Jeri, I like you... I really do."
^.^ Takato's voice actor's performance here REALLY surprised me o_o He was great!

TV's kanji is also translated. Well translated. And well edited too, what is really rare here XD.

Side Note:
In the end, in the original version, Takato screams "PLEASE, SOMEBODY TELLS ME THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!" while seeing the D-Reaper in the TV. In the dub, there's our beloved "to be continued" message with that unclear and unuseful message about the next episode.
