Whirling Ultimate Flower! Sakuyamon's Evolution

Song of Sakuyamon

Sahgo's notes: Hey, good title. The Writer is Adele Lim. You know, any writer who isn't Adele Lim OR Seth Walther would make me happy. My theory about those two is proved: - Adele Lim -> She loves adding stupid and imaginary dialogue in silencious scenes, but when she adapts the character's real line, she usually does a good job.
- Seth Walther -> He doesn't usually add imaginary dialogue, but he loves to make the characters say stupid stuff, specially in the middle of a serious conversation.
For me, they're both awful. And following this theory, this episode is one of those "I'll give 5 dollars for anyone who tells me a scene with 10 seconds or more that has no lines".

Side Note:
I forgot to comment about Zhuqiamon's and Qinglongmon's dub voices. Well, Zhuqiamon's is good, even it makes a very angry voice all the time. Don't get me wrong: at the beggining, the original Zhuqiamon does the same (because he IS angry), but when Qinglongmon stops him, he makes a normal voice. In the dub, he's angry all the time, what can get annoying after sometime. But overall, it's good.
Qinglongmon/Azulongmon's dub voice is just great ^_^.
Oh, and there's something really weird in the original version. Sometimes, Zhuqiamon is referred as "Suzakumon", and sometimes as "Zutsemon" o_O.

Stupid Dialogue:
That whole conversation in the beggining, between Kazu and Rika, doesn't exist in the original. It's all silence in the japanese version. And it's a pretty dumb dialogue ¬¬. Kenta: "Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick again!"
Kazu: "Totally!"
I liked they retained the reference to Juri's mother death, but there was a change. Look: Juri: "When my mother died, I didn't take long to stop crying. My stepmother is a good person, and I try to like her, but... but I just..."
Jeri: "When my real mother died, I swore I wouldn't let anyone take her place. So when my new stepmother came, she wanted to be my friend, but I never gave her a chance, to see how I'm not nice. I'm... awful... "
The part where Juri says she stopped crying soon when her mother died was "the" line in the original, so, it's a shame it's not in the dub. Even so, I was afraid they erased that part for any stupid reason, so I'm happy they retained - part of - it.

Side Note:
Now, here, Seth Walther really made a trap to any of the following translators: Jeri: "Leomon said everyone has their own destiny." Did he? DID HE? Well, I didn't hear it. I really didn't. He said something else. He said... oh yeah, he said you have a LION'S HEART. Well, maybe that mean he said that when we weren't watching, but there's no... no MEANING anymore. Walther, you did something bad back there. Oh, how you did.
Anyway, it was better this way. This episode is in most about destiny. It would be weird (and even laughable) if it was changed to 'lionhearting' XD
(Imagine: "Renamon, can people with lion's heart be happy?" "Of course they can!").

Stupid Dialogue:
Ryo: "Whatever did this to Baihumon isn't just an opponent, it's a NATURAL DISASTER! So, an earthquake or a tsunami would do the same? Oh, Enbowumon still talks like an idiot.

Side Note:
In the original, those bubbles of the D-Reaper had no name, it was still called "the real enemy". In the dub, the Sovereigns call them "the chaos".

Stupid Dialogue:
Terriermon: "Yeah! I mean, how are we supposed to kick its butt if it doesn't even HAVE one?!" Kazu: "Ow! My head has never been this bad since I had to listen to Kenta's knock knock jokes". It hurted more when you had a brain, and that's why you removed it. Kazu: "The girls are crazier than a soup sandwich!" Terriermon: "That is as long is Azulongmon here doesn't sneeze. Or hic up. Or decide to -------". Stupid little joke.

Side Note:
The fast music that plays originally in Sakuyamon's evolution scene is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard. The dub's is not THAT bad, but.......... In the original, while sitted inside of Sakuyamon, Ruki sings. In the dub she's just sitted there, but it's pretty obvious she should be singing. Oh, and I'm suprised they retained Ruki's naked scenes. I mean, I thought they would put some kind of digital cloth or something like this.
