The Name is Dukemon! Holy Mega Evolution

Give a Little Bit

Sahgo's notes: This dub title is.... huh? The Writer today is Terri-Lei O'Malley (wow, long time no see). Well, what can I say... he has good points and bad points, like Adele Lim. I mean, Adele Lim LOVES to add imaginary lines, but her translations of the real lines are pretty good. Terri-Lei is the opposite: he doesn't add a lot of imaginary lines, but he loves changing the real lines.
Seth Walther doesn't have ANY good points.

Side Note:
Megidramon doesn't laugh. Well, it's nothing THAT important, but, in the original, Jenrya got close to Xiao-Chung and the ground started to crash. He just said "oh no!", and Rapidmon came to save them. When they landed, Rapidmon said "I'm still not ready to give up!". In the dub, Henry called for Rapidmon to save them, and when they landed, Rapidmon said that he would never let Henry down. Useless change, but worth mentioning. Janyu and Yamaki's conversation was good for most of the time, then... in the original, Yamaki said he trust the children: they could make a lot of things the adults couldn't. In the dub, Yamaki says they're reliable children, who put him in his place more than once.

Stupid Dialogue:
Rapidmon: "If this battle continues, the world will be destroyed. We have no choice, we gotta stop him" (referring to Megidramon).
Rapidmon: "Henry, he --------- a Deva! Just swallowed him like an ice cream cold! He's gotta be stopped or we'll all be dessert!" (referring to Beelzemon).
Yeah, that makes sense. Oh, Beelzemon says a lot of stupid stuff. But his accent is just too hard for me. Henry: "They're both trapped like flies! Totally helpless!"

Cut:
(12 seconds) In the dub, Beelzemon punches to Megidramon are too fast: he punches, we see a flash, and that's it. He punches him 2 times very fast in the dub (1 second or so), while, in the original, Belzebumon punches Megidramon 5 times, and the punches are more impactant and longer (making 13 seconds, so, 13 - 1 = 12 seconds lost). TAKE THIS! (1 second) After Jeri's/Juri's "Stop!" scream, another shortned and flash'd punch (original = 3 seconds; dub = 2 seconds). TAKE THIS AGAIN! (1 second) Belzebumon kicks Megidramon in both versions, but in the dub, there's a flash and we jump right to the part where that symbol in Megidramon's body is broken. In the original, there's still a scene of the kick, with the "blue impact effect". TAKE THIS TOO!

Side Note:
In the original, Takato's flashbacks with Guilmon didn't have the original lines of the episodes. Just Takato's narration. In the dub, it has both. Also, in the original, in a part of the flashback, Takato says something like: "But... digimon are just a bunch of data. There's no magic about that". In the dub, Takato says something about not being able to control himself (????????????????????????????????????????????).
The alteration here was big.
Takato: "No... that's wrong. He can be just a bunch of data, or a Digimon created by me, but... Guilmon is just Guilmon. He's my friend. We played, we talked, we laughed and we fighted together."
Takato: "Guilmon was always Guilmon until I messed him up. No matter how big he got he was always my friend. My partner. But I let him down. I acted like a fool. I really wanted Beelzemon to suffer for what he done, and it wasn't enough just defeat him, he had to hurt (?). It was bad that I felt that way but it was worse for Guilmon. I made him a monster!"
So, in the original, the dilemma is "he's data, but he's still my friend". In the dub, is "oh no, he's my friend, I turned him into a monster". Dukemon's name was changed to Gallantmon. Also, in the original, he has his own voice, while, in the dub, he's dubbed by Takato's and Guilmon's voice actors together, what in my opinion doesn't sound well.
