Impmon Evolves! The Shudder of Belzebumon, the Dark Lord

Motorcycle Madness

Sahgo's notes: AH, horrible title >.< Well, the writer is Rebecca Olkowski. After her script-changing work in episode 12, I was affraid of this one. But, my surprise: very good ._. A LOT of untouched lines, good adaption and so. Not bad, lady, not bad at all.

Stupid Dialogue:
Silence
Kenta: "I can fly!"
Rika: "Not if you let go"
Kazu: "I'm gonna be sick again!"
Rika: "GREAT, he HAD to be next to me"
...The first lines of the episode...

Side Note:
In the second scene of the episode, that scene that shows the distance between Rika and crew from Takato and crew, there's a quick footage of the Tamers' flag. The kana wasn't edited this time. Maybe because it's a quick scene, not to mention extremely hard to edit ._.

Stupid Dialogue:
Terriermon: "That village looks like a petrified bubble-bath, if you ask me!" Nobody is asking, so, SHUDDUP! Takato: "It's not exactly what you call one of the world's most beautiful vacation spots on". You chose the worst time to say this crap. But the funny part of the line is that Takato's voice actor says that WAY fast. I couldn't understand very well a bunch of stuff Terriermon said. But trust me: it's stupid. Guilmon: "Could have said 'excuse me'". Motorbikes don't talk. Terriermon: "Looks like someone needs to get a new cooking-------". Let's face it: the dubbers hate this bunny. Once again, EVERYTHING IMPMON SAYS IN THE DUB IS STUPID, YOU HEAR ME!? Calumon: (Something about trees not being able to talk). And you're not able to say interesting things. Guilmon (on the bike): "Nice horse!" .....it doesn't need any comments. Gargomon: "Uh-oh! I think he lost his head!" Ignoring the stupid pun, since when is Guilmon's head gray?

Side Note:
Chuuromon's name is changed to MetalKoromon (?).

Stupid Dialogue:
MetalKoromon: "Oh no! Look! Guilmon's gone berserk!" Can somebody tell me how the hell did this digimon figure out Guilmon's name?

Side Note:
In the original, the story of the red shoes was a little different. It said the person who wears them keeps dancing until dies, not "forever". In the original, Impmon's flashback was silencious. And originally, Kato said the red shoes story had a sad ending (= death). In the dub, Jeri just said she doesn't remember the ending, but something horrible happened to the girl.

Cut:
(1 second) Hum, something I've noticed ._. At first I thought it was my video's problem, but then I saw it was really a cut. In the dub, you see Leomon grabbing his sword, and, in the next scene, he's with it on his hand. But in the dub, you don't see Leomon taking his sword from his backs. If we can see the sword in the very next scene, why the hell did they do this? Wow, a sword... that's evil. (2 seconds) After Leomon draws his sword, there's a scene of Takato screaming "Yamete!" [Stop!]. That was cutted off the dub. STOP!!!

Censor:
Well, this scene of Leomon hitting Guilmon was hidden with a very long flash. Hum... Guilmon is alive... yeah.... I'm happy... I... guess...

Stupid Dialogue:
Leomon: "Don't worry Takato. He has a very hard head". Saban's fault. Leomon's japanese explanation made more sense than the dub's. In the original, he says if the motorbike controls the consciousness of the rider, than, he just had to make the rider unconscious. In the dub he says something confuse about the rider needing a not-so-gentle wake up call. Yeah... sure...

Side Note:
Belzebumon's name is changed to Beelzemon.
