Sahgo's notes: Finally a decent dub title. This episode's dub was HORRIBLE AND... wait. No, it wasn't ._. (sorry, it's the habit). This episode's dub was actually GOOD. Yeah, most of the original dialogue was there, and Takato's voice actor is a little better now - or I just got used to him. Well, whatever. The english episode writer is Terri Lei O'Malley. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Stupid Dialogue:
In the original, Takato doesn't decide Guilmon's evolution to be called "Growlmon" in that first scene. He decides it in the battle.

Censor + Stupid Dialogue:
Well, that scene of the couple was WAY modified. In the original, the man takes a cigarrete and tries to smoke, but his lighter doesn't work. It's where Impmon offers fire to him. In the dub, this was replaced by some unexistant stupid conversation between the couple (with previous showed scenes), where the girl would be inviting the guy to a date - in a very, very stupid way. They also used a shot of "Impmon's finger fire" that isn't from this episode. Maybe it's from a previous episode, or from a future episode. No smoke. In the scene that Impmon FIRE EVERYTHING, both cigarrete and lighter were digitally erased.
(Hey, then why isn't Yamaki's lighter erased too?) I don't have anything in my hands! No time loss.

Stupid Dialogue:
Again, EVERYTHING Impmon says in the dub IS Stupid Dialogue. Takato: "'Logic' is not your middle name!"
Guilmon: "Nope, don't have a middle name!" And don't have logic too. The second conversation between Impmon and Guilmon was sightly modified. In the original, Impmon calls Guilmon to go play with him, but Guilmon can't go because Takato said it. In the dub, Impmon says Guilmon is affraid of dark, and the dub makes we think that. But the "Takato's order" part is still in there. The stupid part was the 'fear of the dark'. Guilmon: "Are we there yet?"
Impmon: "NO!"
Guilmon: "Are we there yet?"
Impmon: "NO!!-Uh, yeah!" Am I the only one who thinks this joke isn't fun anymore?

Cut:
(1 second) When Takato thinks that some policeman could've kill Guilmon, this shot of a pistol was cut. No guns, peace!

Stupid Dialogue:
Takato: "I must be the lousiest tamer in the face of the earth! Why did I have to make him so big?" ...Renamon is bigger, in my opinion. Takato: "I'll never see you again, except on the evening news". Everyday? Ms. Asaji (about Devidramon): "That... was no pidgeon". Really?! Renamon: "Are you ready to fight, Rika?"
Rika: "Is that a retorical question?" You know, those two have just a few lines in this episode. There's no need for them to be stupid! DEVIDRAMON DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING IN THE ORIGINAL! Takato (about Devidramon): "He gives 'The Evil Eye' a WHOLE new meaning!" And you give 'stupid' a WHOLE new meaning.

Censor + Stupid Dialogue:
This scene of Devidramon smashing Guilmon was hidden by enleghtning the previous and following scenes. UGGH!!

Stupid Dialogue:
Terriermon: "Takatomon!" Oh, not you too! Takato: "Boo sy... baby!" (Or something similar) "Walk over" for Rika, and this for Takato... which should be Henry's catchy phrase?
