Resurrected Digivice - A New Shining Light

How To Fix A Broken Digivice

Sahgo's Notes: Here Rosemon makes her censored debut! Yay!! I mean, boooh! >:O (forgive me, it's just that it's good to have something new to complain about).

Censor:

Bye bye, lip piercing, bye bye.

BanchoLeomon's Dojo sign was romanized, but was changed from Digisoul Dojo to DNA Charge Dojo.

Cut:

(2 seconds) A pan-up shot of BanchoLeomon, right before the intro song. It's really useless, they cutted because it would be awkwardly weird to leave it there ._. It would show the pan-up twice, since it happens again (altough slower) after the opening.

Censor:

Another sign change. This time, from "Digisoul" do "DNA", with these crosswords telling us that DNA stands for Digimon Natural Ability.

See?

Inconsistency:

Well... the previously mentioned sign was not changed in this shot.

=O

Censor:

The sign again. This time it was completely erased ._.

WHO took it out?!

This censor remains consistent for the rest of the episode ._.

Stupid Dialogue:

Thomas: "Hey... how many of these wood things are there?"

THREE. This question was stupid because... Tohma, you're a genious. Such a genious that you STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO COUNT?! THERE ARE JUST THREE OF THOSE THINGS, THEY JUST KEEP GOING BACK. AND.... you know what, forget it. Let's move on.

Side Note:

The Digivice Burst retained its name.

And once again, the in-digivice sentece ("ULTIMATE EVOLUTION") was retained, altough following the adaptation's logic its dub equivalent would be "MEGA DIGIVOLUTION".

And the Digisoul Charge Overdrive was changed to DNA Charge Overdrive. Blah blah blah.

Altough I'm a little late, there is no such thing as "Warp Digivolve" in the original version. It's just "shinka" (evolution). And, obviously, there is no such thing as "Double Warp Digivolve" that is introduced in this (dub) episode.

ShineGreymon, MirageGaogamon and Rosemon all retained their names.

Cut:

(4 seconds) Oh. My. Jinnai. They actually DID what I predicted they would! Oh my, I'm impressed with myself! I guess I'll just forget about school and become a fortuneteller! *checks a fortuneteller ''salary''*... or maybe not. Anyway, they cut out some shots of Rosemon's evolution scene where the '''camera''' focuses on her butt and on her chest. I can already consider this as an eternal cut, but I'll keep mentioning =] Also, they cutted the last few frames of her evolution scene. I don't think they did that because of her sexy body, it was probably because they were too lazy to edit the kana captioning "Rosemon" in EVERY LITTLE FRAME [I mean, in this episode the name of the new Ultimates are shown in a giant subtitle, y'know? Or... maybe not... forget it >_>]

Anyway, Rosemon's CGI butt and chest! =D

[Update; 31 May 2008] Macho Duck: Pokemega would like to note that Rosemon's evolution was slowed down a bit, as were ShineGreymon's and MirageGaogamon's.

Side Note:

Rosemon (OMG, they won't spare her! XD)

Rose Rapier -> Rose Spear.

On the other hand, Glorious Burst, Full Moon Blaster and Forbidden Temptation were all retained.

I don't see this as a REAL change, but the Holy Capital [Seinaru Miyako] was retitled Sacred City. Which is almost the same thing. And I don't know why I'm mentioning that. But anyway. Here it is. Like it or not. I don't care.

Total episode retained: 99%.
