Sahgo's Notes: Well, with this title, I can assume that this episode is full of tears! You got it? Like, crier, crying? Huh?
...nevermind, just read the comparison.

Censor:

The Noguchi family sign (or whatever) was changed to "THE CRIERS" sign. What kind of stupid family would put a sign reading "THE CRIERS" in front of its house? And what kind of stupid translator would give such a horrible surname like "Criers"? And what... ah, whatever.

"The Criers"... *sigh*


Side Note:

Ikuto's father's name, Kenji Noguchi, was changed to Kevin Crier. Well, at least Kevin is similar to Kenji. But from Ikuto to Keenan there is a LOOOOOONG way.

Hagurumon's name and his attack (Darkness Gear) were retained.

Ikuto's mom's name, Misuzu, was changed to Michelle. Right. Michelle, Kevin and Keenan. That's the Crier family for ya!


Censor:

EKEE around the bus stop.


Cut:

(2 seconds) I so knew this was going to be cut... it's a shot of Ikuto's mom tied by those things inside the giant robot-house. It was cut for pretty obvious reasons (summarizing: "because it looks like bondage").

Hey, don't show this to children!

Oh, Rosemon... you haven't even appeared yet, and I'm already sorry for you.


Inconsistency:

Although the previously mentioned scene was cut, another one just as "unapropriated" as it was shown, like, 10 seconds later.

Alright, maybe there is some hope for Rosemon.


Censor:

When Ikuto is pondering wheter he would be going to save his mother or not, the cutted shot (from the cut box above) is shown. In the dub, they replaced it for a shot previously shown, a view of his mother from a REALLY FAR AWAY point of view. Will these people make their minds? Can or cannot show this freaking shot?


Cut:

(1 second) Another one of "RizeGreymon is going to kill the audience" series. In the dub he shoots just once (again) and without "flashy-colored-bullets".

OH GOD, WHEN WILL RIZEGREYMON'S MURDERS STOP?!!?


Side Note:

Ikuto's sister's name, Yuka, seems to have changed to Ruka (if I heard it right). Hey, just one letter! Whee!

Falcomon's attack change:
Uchitake Drop -> Firecracker Smokescreen.


Weirdest Thing Ever:

Masaru: "Ikuto!"
Marcus: "Keenansgonehedisappeared!"

This was really (unintentionally) funny. Because they actually doubled the number of Masaru's frames saying "Ikuto" so then he could say this unnecessarely long line. Seriously, what the hell?


Side Note:

SaberLeomon's dub voice is pretty good.
