Bring Back the Bond between Parent and Child: Evilmon's Bewitchment

The Vile of Vilemon

Sahgo's Notes: This episode had good points and bad points. The good points were: the dub BGM is being great (seriously, it's probably the best of all seasons) and the script was good (with acceptable tiny changes). The bad point: the key part of the episode was kinda changed. I mean, what the hell is that lie about the Evilmon controlling the character-of-the-week? That wasn't supposed to happen! And it diverges with what Tohma says next episode.

Censor:
Kana erased EVERYWHERE.

The note in front of Shiratori manjuu (saying that the store was closed and stuff) was translated.

Side Note:
Shiratori's name (or surname) was changed to Shitori.

In the original, Koichi thinks his father is going to use the money for gambling. In the dub, however, the still-unnamed son of Shitori thinks his father is going to give the money to those guys...or buy flowers to his mom.

Some seconds later Koichi's dub name is revealed. I heard ''Connor''. And his voice SUCKS.

As always, PicoDevimon's name was changed to DemiDevimon, and his attack was changed from Pico Darts to Demi Darts.

Censor:
A little more kana translating in the race track. But still, a LOT of kana erasing.

Side Note:
Even though it's pretty obvious in the dub that Shitori is gambling, the word "gamble" is not mentioned, being avoided.

In the original, Shiratori called the statue (Evilmon and the PicoDevimon) ''God of Good Fortune'', but in the dub I just heard him calling it ''Master''.

And as always, Evilmon's name was changed to Vilemon.

In the original, the digimon-analyser-window-thingie just said the usual information about Evilmon (he likes to torture others, and his special attack is Nightmare Shock), but in the dub the window-thingie (by Marcus) says that Vilemon feeds on greed of others to grow stronger. Marcus, have you ever heard that half of the population of the world hate spoilers?

Stupid Dialogue:
In the original, Evilmon and the PicoDevimon claims they were destroying because Shiratori wanted to, and they gave him money for the same reason. In the dub, Vilemon and the DemiDevimon KEEP TELLING THE FREAKING LIE that Shitori is under their control. I wonder how will be Tohma's explanation about the seven deadly sins if this keep going like this.

Shiratori: "T-The money... all of it burned to ash..."
Shitori: "So, I couldn't stop acting that way. I was under their spell!"

Yeah, since you can't admit you were being a greedy bastard you lie saying you were being controlled. God, I hate people like that.
