Good one... decent script... as always. But the invisible wound was the first pathethic change until now, so let's try mocking it to hell: *caham* ''WHAT THE SHIT! THEY GOT RID OF SOME FREAKING BLOOD?! THE SCENE BECAME POINTLESS AND NOW ALLLL THE REAL MEANING OF THE SERIES IS GONE!! OH GOD WHY DO THEY HAVE TO CHANGE THIS SHOW TO MAKE IT APPEALING TO RETARDED CHILDREN!? THOSE FUCKIN' DUBBERS MUST DIE!1!1!!" ...bah, it's not fun doing this with Data Squad's dub -_- |

| In the beggining of the episode, there is a recap of the TohmaxMasaru conflict, in both versions. In the original, this recap is done by the narrator of the story (oh, he exists!), but in the dub it's done by Thomas. And even so, the dub recap is still fateful to the original one. |

| In the recap, the kana saying ''DORIMOGEMON'' (Drimogemon) was romanized, but the kana under it, saying "Adult [level]" (which is "champion" in the dub) is just gone. |

Blood digitally removed. The dub scene is quite
weird. Marcus say "You're injured!", but... where is the wound? They
should've at least, I don't know, dirted Tohma's cloth or
something. OMG!!! I'M MORTALLY INJURED... IT'S THE INVISIBLE WOUND!! O_O Soon after, Thomas says "This barely counts as an injury!" (Tohma does the same), what I found pretty funny. I mean, it really doesn't count as an injury... because it isn't. Hahaha! =D ...Ok, it wasn't funny ¬¬ |

In both versions, Tohma/Thomas wonders if Masaru
planned it (you know, taking control of Drimogemon) since the beggining,
but in the original it makes more sense. Inside the cave, Masaru said
"Mazu wa koudou aru nomida". Tohma thought this was the former way of
saying ''koudou'', which means ''get going'', but it was the latter, which
means ''tunnel''. In the dub Thomas just remember what Marcus said in the cave ("Agumon, Gaomon! C'mon, follow me!"), and that was completely out of nowhere. Does Gaomon call Tohma anything besides "Master" in the japanese version (I don't quite remember, Dory-like memory)? Because in the dub he calls him "Thomas" a couple of times in this episode (even though he mixes with the ''Sir!'' line). |

When Marcus punches Drimogemon, the dub added
some reeeeeallly weird space-like impact screen to cover out some
frames. The covered frames just shortned the scene which Masaru punches
Drimogemon (even though they left the last frames, and despite the fact
they haven't done anything similar in the last episodes).
Thanks goodness they got rid of that, I was really affraid children would
start punching giant birds, Flame-creatures and giant drill-nosed
moles. On, and the Kana saying "Digmon" was romanized. |

Marcus' laugh is GODDAMMLY FREAKING HORRIBLE!!!
O_O!!!!!!!! By the way, in the japanese version Masaru usually talks about ''spirit'' [or soul] (''My spirit/soul did this'', or ''this is all about spirit/soul!'' etc), but in the dub they use different words to avoid it. Well, I'm not complaining. At least I haven't heard ''ultimate fighter'' stuff for some time now. |

A note from the Duckmeister: Fear not, citizens, for I do not invade Sahgo's comparison without cause! Actually, a reader sent in a screen capture to Sahgo pointing out that during the scene where Masaru and Tohma get ready to do their "RESPEK KNUCKLES" deal, the dub version forgot to edit out the blood on Tohma's leg. Perhaps they left it because it's hard to notice against the sunset? At any rate, a very special thanks goes out to Yamato Hiakairyu for submitting this information! |
