(And in this episode, we learned that Yoshino and Lalamon are the most defeatable characters ever). |

A friend of mine told me yesterday that Masaru's
last name was also changed in the dub, from ''Daimon'' to ''Damon'',
and
that's the reason for the pronunciation change I mentioned in last
episode's comparison. Sorry for that ^^; |
| Agumon: Hey aniki, how far are we
going? Agumon: Good idea, Boss! No one will think there's anything suspicious about a walking cardboard box. You know... that was a good point. Agumon: If this is dump, then I'm happy for being a garbage truck! |

In the dub, Marcus' mom says she was waiting for
him all night. In the original, Masaru's mom does the same, but also
mentions she thought he got in trouble with the police
again. Marcus' mom's voice is the ''super strict mother'' voice, completely opposite to her japanese counterpart (the ''kind mother'' voice). |
| Masaru: My friends and I just started talking
about life... and before I knew it, it was
morning! Marcus: What ''trouble''? I don't even know the meaning of the word! You're really gotta buy me a dictionary! ;_; I'm scared... |
| Chika's name was changed to Kristy. Her VA is ok. |
| When Masaru's mom start talking about UMA, appears a picture with the word and some mysterious animals. In the original, under the word "UMA" was the katakana of japanese reading of the word. In the dub, they decided to put the meaning of the term (Undentified Myterious Animal). |
| Masaru: How can you be so easygoing, eating
like this? Agumon: Because Sayuri said I could! Masaru: Don't call my mom by her first name! Masaru: How can you just sit here and eat with all that's going on? Agumon: Because if I eat standing up I don't feel good. Masaru: That isn't what I meant! |

In the original Yoshino is eating kushikatsu
(pork and vegetables coated with bread crumbs and fried on a skewer),
but
in the dub is corn. After some time, Yoshino stops calling Agumon "Raptor-1" in the original, but keeps calling him this way in the dub. In the original, Chika's classmate (or ''the character of the day'') is called Takashi, but is unnamed in the dub. |
| Agumon: I hate being cooked up. Locked up like a
criminal. Or a chicken! Or a criminal chicken! Well, you're one big, orange, lizardy criminal chicken. |
The dub evolution music theme... it's a lot
better than the ''Digimon Digital Monsters Crap'', but it
isn't insanely better than Frontier's jungle beats. It's
okay... Sunflowmon retained her name and attack (Sunshine Beam). |
| In the japanese version, Masaru says he won't run
away because a real man never runs away, but in the dub he says he
won't
because an ''ultimate fighter'' never runs away... once more, WHAT THE
HELL IS AN ULTIMATE FIGHTER!? And adding: in the original, Masaru wanted to go to the Digital World to fight with stronger opponents, but in the dub he thinks if he becomes the best fighter in two worlds, he will be the ultimate fighter. ¬¬ And then he will be the GREATEST HOKAGE! |

Gaomon calls Tohma "Master" (in Engrish) in
the japanese version, and "sir" in the dub. I forgot to mention, but Data Squad also has a next-episode-segment which the other seasons didn't have. It's nice =) And by the segment we can see that Tohma's name was changed to Thomas (well, everybody knew that already = ]). |
