Davis: "The next time I tell you to wake me up, try to be a little quieter so I can get some sleep!" Cody: "It's seaweed and raw fish!" Upamon: "Yucky!" Cody: "That was my first reaction, too!" It was kanpyoumaki, which is dried gourd wrapped in rice and seaweed. There's no fish in it. Patamon: "Your gym socks from yesterday are in here!" You carry your gym socks in the same thing you carry your books in? Gross! Yolei: "(lists off an ungodly amount of salads)" Yolei's Mom: "Actually, it's only two bean salad today, I was out of the third bean." Poromon: "Sitting on this coleslaw is getting a little messy! And what's in here that has such a foul smell?" Yolei: "Devilled eggs!" You're bringing devilled eggs in your gym bag? This is the most disgusting dubbed episode ever! T.K.: "Poromon's right! I can smell them from all the way over here!" Yolei: "I guess the mayonaise has gone bad." And they're rotten, too! Yolei: "I stopped at a drinking fountain to give Poromon a bath. It's a long story." >.< People drink out of those things! Jeez! Why did the school bell ring if there's no school? Yolei: "Look, I know it's a Saturday and we're not really supposed to be here, but nobody is within miles of this place. I refuse to crouch!" Actually, in Japan, there is school on Saturday. And besides, if nobody's around, who rang the bell? Davis: "I got us here! Am I the best or what?" Or what. o.o You were supposed to tell them to be quiet. Davis: "Hey, I wonder if the Digital World's open on Saturdays!" Nope. Can't you see the sign? "Closed on weekends, conquering in progress." Yolei: (sarcastic) "Alright, I got us in, am I the best or what?" Mimi: "Don't think I'm just a strawberry-blonde beauty who knows she's beautiful!" No one does. Davis: "Hello, Mimi! My name's Davis, but you can call me... Davis." Gatomon: "Other than being stuffed in a knapsack like a wet towel, fine!" You put wet towels in the same thing you carry your books in??? Mimi: "Is that what I think it is? A chocolate-covered rice ball?" That's a Shinamayo. Yolei: "Wait, Hawkmon, it's just a California Roll!" Hawkmon: "Well, it's rolling it's way back to California!" Mimi: "Something tells me those aren't tail lights in a parking lot." What was your first clue? The fact that those are too close together to be tail lights, or the absence of the parking lot? The Gokimon Brothers are changed to the Roachmon Brothers. Their attacks are split of between the two of them, (the younger one, I think) is given "Garbage Dump," the older one is given "Yard Sale Bombs." Yes, there is an older one and younger one. They call each other "Oniisan" and "Otouto" in the Japanese version. In the Japanese version, the only attack they have is "Dream Dust," save for "Gokimon Brothers Kick," "Gokimon Brothers Chop," etc. |

D. Emporer: "They're staying at the Roachmon Hotel!" Guests check in, they don't check out. Roachmon Bros: "No answer? We didn't even hear the question!" "Gokimon Brothers Kick" is changed to "Roachmon Flyswatter". "Gokimon Brothers Chop" is changed to "Roachmon Exterminate". On the other hand, the song that plays instead of Break Up! today isn't bad. o.o I thought it was kinda cool. Holsemon says "Tempest Wing" when he uses "Red Sun..." AGAIN. |
